Introduction to the Society and Culture of the Dalu Community

Dalu are one of the small ethnic groups of Northeast India. There are different opinions about their origin. According to many researchers, they are part of the Garos and Hajongs. And according to many, they are a part of Manipuris. But Dalus are not willing to accept this argument. According to them, they are a distinct ethnic group. Because, they have their own language, culture and tradition etc. In this article an attempt has been made to present various information about the society and culture of Dalus.
