Dhanantari Kali and Jaychandir Temples are the famous traditional temples of Jayanagar Majilpur area of South 24 Parganas district. The 400-year-old maiden story of this temple is rotated in the people mouth, with the ‘Besher mela’ on the occasion of the mother’s birth in Bengali ‘Baishakh’ month, it is known that at this time sixteen changes and special witches are conducted.
