Moti Nandy in the Light of Sports Journalism
Arna Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor, Department of Bengali, Ramananda College, Bishnupur, Bankura, West Bengal, India
Because to sports journalism, Moti Nandi was able to connect the world of sports to the realm of literature. This journalistic entity never raised issues with literary beings. The game was first introduced to newspaper readers by Moti Nandi. For this reason, he will always be remembered as a legend in Bengali sports journalism. The prose throughout the game's pages is quick-witted and subtly sophisticated. Everything that was previously written on the game page is only statistics and descriptions. Somehow, a description of one or two goals, or a nonstop account of how many runs a player scored, would appear on the last page of the newspaper. Because of the caliber of his writing, the author was able to recognize that the game might become well-known among readers. Moti laid the groundwork for life even before he became a sports journalist and author.
