The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the Regulation of Mental Conflict
Santosh Mondal, Assistant Professor, Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya, Amtala, Murshidabad, West Bengal, India
The Srimadbhagavadgita is a comprehensive treatise on psychological principles and spiritual lifestyle, explaining the entire process of mental development. Gita is more important in the present day, because today's man is troubled by stress and inner conflict and this inner struggle is the cause of imperfection in his overall psychological life. Excellence of conscience is the real measure of personality. Srimadbhagavad Gita's overall mind healing approach is essentially three-dimensional. According to this theory the three dimensions of body, mind and spirit are inextricably linked. When the disease develops, it affects all three levels and is diagnosed and treated accordingly. The modes of action, knowledge and devotion in the Gita relate to the various dimensions of personality, gross, subtle and causal. The Gita provides the solution to inviolable restless mind, disturbed mind and fragmented will. The present article attempts to uncover the strategies of trace management by uncovering the yogic and psychological mysteries and symptoms contained in the Gita.
