Rabindranath’s Idea of Cooperative Movement Dr. Kamal Acharya, Head, Department of Bengali, Michael Madhusudan Dutta Mahavidyalaya, Sabroom, South Tripura, India.
Rabindranath Tagore, the poet of the world, is the Gurudev-poet guru after all, he is an Indian. In the bosom of the motherland in which the poet was born, nourished by the unkind love and beauty of the motherland and united in the acquaintance of the priest of the world humanity, that motherland and the motherland were at the meeting place of the world community, then it was in the mourning of subjugation. And his children were youths in the darkness of illiteracy, deen powerless in ignorance divided by religious morals and superstitions, poor, mindless, hopeless subordinates under the economic exploitation of the capitalist state ruler. Therefore, not only in the creativity of the poet's imagination, but also in his personal efforts, he devoted himself to the overall development of this unfortunate nation of the motherland and motherland. He knows that the whole of India, including Bangladesh, is basically an agricultural country. So, first of all, rural areas need to be improved. There is an urgent need to bring cultural co-operation between rural farmers and common people. Then they need to be educated in agriculture. Only then can they be stimulated to work cooperatively with the power of unity awakened in ideological cooperation. And with the collective efforts of these working cooperatives, they can be taken to the fertile field of agricultural cooperatives by focusing on livelihood cooperatives. We get Gurudev's in-depth plan of financial cooperatives and industrial cooperatives from the hands of the planned idea of this agricultural cooperative. This is not only the plan of the thinker, but by making it a reality with his own efforts, the poet employed all his energies to keep the bond of agricultural, financial and industrial co-operatives of the subjugated nation intact. His real reflection is the establishment of Kabir Sriniketan along with Santiniketan. And with these two institutions we get Gurudev's far-planned co-operative policy of co-operative knowledge, science and religion. Above all, it is through this link of knowledge, science and religious cooperation that we get the honey mixture of sage Rabindranath Tagore's world cooperative policy. Yastu sarvani bhutani atmanyeva anupashyati Sarva bhooteshu cha atmanam na vijugupsate That is, he who sees all the demons in the Supreme Soul and sees the Supreme Soul in the Supreme Soul, then he hates no one else. “All-pervasive Lord Tasmat Sarvagat: Shiva”. Then in all beings he sees the Jiva in the knowledge of Shiva, sees Shiva in the Jiva knowledge. And see Sarvagatamangal. It is through the pursuit of this consciousness that the Indian people are not jealous, not jealous, not dominant, not powerful, then caste with caste, religion with religion, society with society, home country with foreign country, with you, forget the other divisions, people are inspired to an integral world sense and among all the people of the world. By uniting themselves, they meet in a united union. It is here that the universal expression of Rabindranath, the priest of idle action, the colonial philosopher poet, the universal poet Rabindranath, is articulated
