Yoga is an ancient and controversial method. The word 'yoga' is derived from the Sanskrit word 'yuj'. It means to join or unite. Yoga refers to the union of the soul and the Supreme Soul. According to Sri Aurobindo, yoga is a path of practice through which a person realizes The Supreme Soul within himself. According to him, the Supreme Soul, in the form of Sachchidananda, being blissful, is active at the same time and shrinks itself in various form, this is the descent of the Supreme Soul. The form and origin of the soul is this Supreme Soul. In the process of Evolution, in order to return to the form of The Supreme Soul, beyond the level of the mind guided by the rational intellect and go to the Supramental level, the seeker needs this Integral Yoga. In Integral Yoga, The Supreme Soul is realized not only in the individual but also in the entire human society, in all beings. In Integral Yoga, the whole life is Yoga. The body, soul and mind are all equally important. In Integral Yoga, everything is realized in an integral and complete form for the seeker. | ||
