Folk Songs Popular in the Oral Tradition of Tripura: Different Phases

Folk culture is the culture of folk life. Folk culture in which the varied flowof joys and sorrows of the life of the common people of rural Bengal has been embodied in the literature is called folk culture. Folk songs are one of the cultural genres of Tripura state in North East India. Among the people of rural Bengal folk songs have been included in a special phase through various cultural events. Folk culture is the culture of creative people. It is sung through music in different places scattered through people.
