Proverb is one of the most popular and powerful branches of Bengali oral literature. Proverb's simple straight-forward style attracts ordinary people like a magnet. The origin of the proverb is difficult to determine, but the origin of the proverb is probably attributed to women, not men. In North Bengal, like many other parts of the world, proverbs spread from direct knowledge of the people at their own pace to the masses, flowing from one generation to another. This topic will be discussed in detail in the discussion article. Keywords: Proverb Women North Bengal.
