The research paper investigates the indigenous tribal communities of India who utilize traditional medicinal practices and their medicinal knowledge for health treatment. The study examines the ethnopharmacological value of traditional medicinal practices which indigenous tribal communities use to create their medicinal remedies. The study investigates how tribal groups use their traditional healing methods for their current health care needs. India's tribal communities maintain one of the largest collections of indigenous medical traditions, which extends to more than 700 scheduled tribal communities that utilize hundreds of natural remedies from plants, animals and minerals for their essential health requirements. The research analyzes tribal healers as keepers of ancient medical knowledge through its study of ethnobotanical research, together with phytochemical testing and public health studies. The research study investigates the traditional medicinal practices of Santhals, Gonds, Bhils and Mundas and Northeast Indian tribes through their specific plant-based healing methods and their unique healing rituals. The study investigates how biodiversity loss, knowledge erosion, intellectual property issues, and conflicts between traditional and biomedical medicine systems create obstacles to the development of tribal medicine. The research advocates for a public health framework which combines tribal medical knowledge into Indian health systems because the study shows tribal remedies effectively treat common diseases while their bioprospecting value remains.
